The genome sequence of Slender Tare, Vicia parviflora Cav. (Fabales: Fabaceae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly of Vicia parviflora (Slender Tare; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Fabales; Fabaceae). The primary assembly has a total length of 2,826.49 megabases. Most of the primary assembly (99.62%) is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial sequences have lengths of 341.49 and 64.57 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 122.23 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
