The genome sequence of navelwort, Umbilicus rupestris (Salisb.) Dandy (Saxifragales: Crassulaceae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly of Umbilicus rupestris (navelwort; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Saxifragales; Crassulaceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 352.03 megabases and 347.15 megabases. The haplotype 1 assembly and the haplotype 2 assembly each contain 25 chromosomal pseudomolecules; these account for 99.98% and 99.93% of their respective sequences. The mitochondrial genome assembly has a length of 241.62 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 150.91 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
