A truck driver from Aklan gets stranded for more than four months after allegedly losing his cellphone, money, and driver’s license during a work trip.
The man was identified as Henrich Dordas Rose, a resident of Barangay Fulgencio in the municipality of Balete, Aklan. He was working as a truck driver and was transporting cargo when his personal belongings were reportedly stolen while he was in Apalit, Pampanga.
Rose said the incident left him in a difficult situation. Without his cellphone, he was unable to contact his family and inform them about what had happened. The loss of his money and driver’s license made it even harder for him to continue his journey or make arrangements to return home.
As days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, Rose eventually found himself in Guiguinto, Bulacan. Since then, he has been moving from place to place while searching for any opportunity that could help him reunite with his loved ones in Aklan.
The long separation has become a painful experience for both Rose and his family. Being away from home for several months without proper communication created uncertainty about his condition and whereabouts.
Despite the challenges, he continues to hope that he will soon be able to return to his hometown and start over.

Local authorities have now stepped in to help. The Balete Municipal Police Station is asking relatives, friends, and anyone who may know Rose or his family to get in touch with them. Their goal is to locate his relatives as quickly as possible and assist in bringing him safely back home.
Police are also encouraging the public to share information about Rose’s situation. Officials believe that wider public awareness can help speed up efforts to contact his family and end the months-long ordeal.
