The genome sequence of the caddisfly, Mystacides azureus (Linnaeus, 1761) (Trichoptera: Leptoceridae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Mystacides azureus (caddisfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Trichoptera; Leptoceridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 622.39 megabases. Most of the assembly (98.99%) is scaffolded into 20 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 24.88 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
