The genome sequence of the White-banded Grass-moth, Crambus pascuella Linnaeus, 1758 (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Crambus pascuella (White-banded Grass-moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Crambidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 792.17 megabases and 788.21 megabases. The haplotype 1 assembly and the haplotype 2 assembly each contain 30 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome; these account for 98.92% and 99.36% of their respective sequences. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.34 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
