The genome sequence of the Small Cowberry Marble, Rhopobota ustomaculana (Curtis, 1831) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Rhopobota ustomaculana (Small Cowberry Marble; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 667.00 megabases and 666.92 megabases. The haplotype 1 assembly and the haplotype 2 assembly each contain 28 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome; these account for 99.72% and 99.88% of their respective sequences. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.02 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
