The genome sequence of the Bordered Marble, Endothenia marginana (Haworth, 1811) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Endothenia marginana (Bordered Marble; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 864.14 megabases and 710.84 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (100.0%) was scaffolded into 27 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.93 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
