The genome sequence of the Marsh Grey, Eudonia pallida (Curtis, 1827) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Eudonia pallida (Marsh Grey; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Crambidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 921.55 megabases and 921.62 megabases. The haplotype 1 assembly and the haplotype 2 assembly each contain 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome; these account for 99.89% and 99.72% of their respective sequences. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.29 kilobases. Gene annotation of the haplotype 1 assembly by Ensembl identified 12,359 protein-coding genes. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
