Fact: This video has no connection with the CJP protests or Prime Minister Modi. While the CJP protests began in June 2026, this video has been available on the internet since at least January 2026. Several reports stated that the incident was related to a personal dispute involving a boyfriend. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

A reverse image search of key frames from the viral video led us to several social media posts (here, here, and here) featuring the same video, uploaded in January 2026. This confirms that the video predates the CJP protests, which began in June 2026. According to these social media posts, the video shows a young woman being beaten by two women over a dispute involving her boyfriend.

Upon further investigation, we found that several media outlets (here, here, and here) reported on the incident in January 2026. While none of the reports provided detailed information about the incident, some stated that the assault stemmed from a dispute involving the young woman’s boyfriend.

To sum up, an unrelated video is shared as showing a young woman being beaten by her family members for abusing PM Modi during the Delhi CJP protests.
