The England vs Norway World Cup quarter final will be screened at Co-op Live in Manchester
Up and down the country, from pubs and bars to fanzones, the early hours of Monday morning saw an eruption of emotions as England took one step closer to bringing it home with a 3-2 World Cup victory over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
Jude Bellingham scored twice before Harry Kane was once again the penalty hero, securing England's place in the World Cup quarter-finals against Norway on Saturday night.
With the kick-off delayed an hour, nerves were high in Manchester's pubs and fanzones as fans awaited their fate - and were handsomely rewarded for pulling an all-nighter. Thomas Tuchel's side will now face Norway in a quarter-final thriller in Miami.

The match will be shown live on ITV but many fans will be looking to head out and watch the match. Across Greater Manchester there's a number of venues showing the match, and now Co-op Live has thrown its hat into the ring, revealing details of a huge fan zone.
Following England's 3–2 victory over Mexico in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16, Co-op Live has announced it will host one of Manchester's biggest watch parties as the Three Lions continue their quest for World Cup glory.
On Saturday, 11 July from 8pm, football fans from across the region are invited to gather at the UK’s largest indoor arena to watch England. The match, kicking off at 10pm (BST), will be played in Miami, Florida.
For one night, Vertu Place – Co-op Live’s huge main ground floor fan activation space – will be transformed into a World Cup fan zone, bringing supporters together to experience every moment of the action on Co-op Live’s 23-metre 4K HD screen.
Supporters will experience a full programme of entertainment including live music, DJs, and pre-match warmup for fans. Food and drink will also be available from Big Chicken, Co-op Live’s iconic Soundbites brand, as well as the Co-op Kitchen, with pints from £6.50.
Tickets will be priced at £10 including books fees and are available to purchase now via the Co-op Live website. On Saturday, doors will open at 8pm, the match starts at 10pm and last entry will be 10:45pm.
You must be 18 and over to attend the venue and parking will be available on campus. Accessible tickets are available for purchase too.
