England have reached the World Cup quarter finals - here's some of the best pubs and fanzones to watch the all-important match
A nail-biting 3-2 win against Mexico has secured England a place in the World Cup quarter finals. Two goals from Jude Bellingham put Thomas Tuchel's team in front, before Harry's Kane's penalty sealed it.
As the chords of Wonderwall rang out in the Azteca Stadium, the squad and millions of fans at home breathed a heavy sigh of relief - soaking up one of England's best-ever performances.
Now, as the dust settled The Three Lions gear up again to face Norway in the quarter final on Saturday night (11 July). It will mark the first time England have faced Noway at a major tournament.

At least this time fans won't have to wait until 2am for the match to kick off, with the quarter-final taking place at Miami Stadium, Florida at 10pm BST.
While there were some rule changes for England v Mexico, generally speaking pubs and venues can stay open until 2am for kick-offs between 9pm and 10pm. Unless there's thunderstorms or rain delays, at present a number of venues will be able to show the all-important fixture.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of the venues that will be screening the game on Saturday night and with availability. We'll be updating this as more venues reveal their plans for the Saturday game.
Hailed as one of Europe's biggest World Cup fan zones, the We Are Football Festival will be screening the latest match too.
We Are Football Festival 2026, a landmark collaboration between Freight Island, Depot Mayfield and 4TheFans, they've taken over Manchester two biggest venues to create the largest fan park in Europe - and it's been hugely popular.
Huge anti-glare screens, top-tier sound system, live entertainment, and food and drink stalls have made for great atmosphere for England's World Cup matches. Tickets are now on sale for Saturday's match - but a lot of the packages have started to sell out.
On the website, general admission is priced at £6.81 and includes a beer. There are also options to of 4 for 3 for £19.44, family seated (1 child and 1 adult) for £6.81 and VIP packages. Tickets can be booked here.

To mark the quarter-final match, Co-op Live, the UK's largest arena, have announced a special screening of the match.
For one night, Vertu Place – Co-op Live’s huge main ground floor fan activation space – will be transformed into a World Cup fan zone, bringing supporters together to experience every moment of the action courtesy of Co-op Live’s 23-metre 4K HD screen.
Supporters will experience a full programme of entertainment including live music, DJs, and pre-match warmup for fans. Food and drink will also be available from Big Chicken, Co-op Live’s iconic Soundbites brand, as well as the Co-op Kitchen, with pints from £6.50.
Tickets will be priced at £10 including books fees and are available to purchase now via the Co-op Live website. On Saturday, doors will open at 8pm, the match starts at 10pm and last entry will be 10:45pm.
Etihad Campus, 1 Sportcity Way, Manchester M11 3DL
Diecast is also set to screen the England v Norway game with their World Cup Nights takeover.
Taking place at the Ducie Street venue, the event will be filled with massive screens and a ‘mega music takeover’ with DJs, hosts, quizzes, competitions and plenty of special guests.
Doors will be open from 8pm for the fanzone and last entry will be 9pm. First release tickets have sold out but there is a final release standing available for £22.40, while a VIP table (6 people) for £336, while 8-person VIP is £448. Tickets available here.

Over in Spinningfields, the match will be shown at The Lawn Club with its large giant outdoor screen and indoor screens.
As with previous matches, tickets start from £11 and go up to £38.50 for different packages.
General admission tickets include your entry plus a drink on arrival, with a limited number of early release general tickets available now at this price.
The Lawn Club is on Hardman Square, Spinningfields, M3 3HG.
St John's venue Courts Club will also be screening the match indoors, and due to demand, across the full tennis court - making it Manchester's biggest outdoor screening.
Tickets are from £10 and includes general admission to Courts Club to watch the game live, access to the Clubhouse and full bar menu available throughout. General admission final release is priced at £22.38, which are available here.

One of the most unique fan experiences this time round comes from Victoria Baths. Screened from the historic swimming pool, Victory at the Baths comes complete with street food, bars and DJs.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but if you bring four of more friends you get a discount on groups tickets, at £7 each. If there's just two of you the other group option is priced at £8. Last entry will be 8pm. Tickets here.

The Grosvenor have been going all out with their lively World Cup screenings down on Oxford Road.
Since the start, they have been showing the action on their big screens with a complimentary Fireball shot on the house every time England hit the back of the net. They're also ensuring people can celebrate in style with England wigs, St George’s glasses, foam hands, and loads more matchday merch.
General admission tickets are still available for Saturday's match starting from £3. If you want a package that ensures admission and your first pint, that'll cost you £7 here.

If the snacks are just as important as the match, you'll want to grab a seat at House of Social just over from HOME near Oxford Road and Deansgate. Five screens and give kitchens means wherever you sit, you'll get a great view.
For guaranteed entry, tickets are free, but this does not mean you get a seat. If you want to secure a seat, that's £15 per person and includes one drink. VIP seating is priced at £30 and includes reserved comfortable seating, one drink and £15 food token. Note this option means you may share a table.

Zouk in Manchester city centre will be offering a ‘relaxed and hospitality-led’ experience that differs from the traditional crowded sports bar atmosphere.
With reserved seating, food, drink and table service throughout each of England’s first three games, their £29 Match Night offering features poppadom's and chutneys, any curry or biryani, a choice of Naan, rice or chips, and one drink of either a 330ml Cobra beer, selected cocktail, small house wine or soft drink. 5, The Quadrangle, Chester St, Manchester M1 5QS
Over at the Cotton Works in Wigan, The Factory Floor will be hosting an ‘unforgettable match-day experience’ with all of the action on the big screen, alongside live singers and pre-match entertainment.
There will also be face painters, a choice of food and drink, and even the option to upgrade to the ultimate VIP experience. Doors open at 6pm, last entry is 8pm and the match kicks off at 10pm.

Manchester food hall Society will be showing all England fixtures on a specially installed ‘epic’ screen - with extended opening hours until full-time.
The venue has over 40 beer taps, a global street food menu, a big sound system, and a brilliant beer garden, and will also be hosting a fan event throughout the tournament where anyone ordering one of a select three beers can scan a code and enter their winning World Cup predictions.

The Pen and Pencil will be showing all of the games on their big screen, with free entry. They will also be serving up World Cup specials and cocktails, including Bloody Maria, Maple Old Fashioned, Miami Vice and Hurricane.

Much-loved Irish bar O’Malleys, on Portland Street, will be hosting all the World Cup games across five large TV screens specifically designed for sports.
There will be fun, pints and good times with free entry - no need to book. Interesting fact, O’Malleys is the only Irish bar in Manchester to be open until 4am so you can hopefully (if England win) be celebrating throughout the night.

Shuffleboard and cocktail bar Electric Shuffle, on Deansgate, are going all-out for its World Cup offering.
Alongside private viewing screens for groups of up to 12 people, which will also include an hour of shuffleboard before kick-off, there will also be the option to reserve a table amongst the centre of all the action with a prime screen view and full table service for throughout the game.

Popular nightspot Joshua Brooks are bringing live DJs and the good vibes for this year’s World Cup. They’ll be showing the action across the bar and within its Clubhouse. Free standing tickets are available, but groups of six can reserve a spot with six pints for £36 here.

Opening just in time for the a summer of epic sport and of course, The World Cup, The Abbey at Manchester Science Park in Hulme will also be screening the matches.
Formerly known as The Old Abbey Taphouse, the venue reopens at the start of June and will be hosting the tournament on the big screen with drinks specials and good vibes. Follow on Instagram for the latest details.

As Irish bar Dirty O'Sullivans have said 'the football gods have answered' with the England v Norway quarter-final fixture. The former Red’s True BBQ spot opposite the Town Hall, is enjoying its first ever World Cup with flowing Guinness, entertainment, and plenty of food to keep fans fed and watered. Screening all of England's World Cup matches this summer, The Blues Kitchen will be celebrating the World Cup with free screenings.
Before kick-off, guests can fuel up with favourites from their Southern-inspired menu, including Buffalo Chicken Wings, Crispy Squid, Sichuan Wings, and the Smoked Brisket Dip Sandwich, and there'll be a big range of cocktails, craft beers, premium spirits and wines to order behind the bar.

St John’s pub Stables Tavern will be screening England’s matches with no tickets or booking required.
Shown across both rooms, front and back, there will be plenty of space to catch all of the action whilst enjoying a rotating line of beers from local breweries and guest favourites. Save room for a pie too. Walk-in’s only, but it’s first come, first served.

Altrincham spot The Station Hotel is on board for all the matches - early or late.
Continuing their promise of delivering 'serious tournament energy’ for England’s World Cup games, there will be plenty of darts and pool to keep fans awake beforehand and then the recently-revamped venue will be showing all the action as it happens on the big screen. No bookings required, it’s walk-in’s only but fans are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee a spot.

Independent bar and event space Red Arch located in a hidden space beneath a railway arch is showing the latest fixture over in Cheetham Hill. Doors open from 6pm and they'll be having a pre-match BBQ - and every burger purchased with a ticket can be meat or vegan. Tickets are a fiver here.

If the fanzones aren't your vibe, don't worry because luxury city centre hotel King Street Townhouse will be showing the match too.
They're inviting fans to their exclusive private cinema for every key fixture of the upcoming World Cup. Each screening offers with full table service, curated food, and premium drinks.
From the Round of 16 through to the final stages, enjoy every fixture on the big screen with immersive sound and a relaxed, elevated atmosphere.

You can experience every moment of the quarter-final match at Stockport's biggest World Cup Fan Zone. Stockport County's home of Edgeley Park has opened its doors complete with 12 big screens alongside street food inspired by the USA, Canada and Mexico, two fully stocked bars and live music.
The Fan Zone will be open on Saturday, 11 July for England’s Quarter-Final clash with Norway, from 5pm until late. Tickets here.

While their match-day table options for groups have all sold out, the gig venue is still letting fans grab free standing entry tickets for the match. They're also doing a next goal scorer sweepstake with the chance to win a free two-pint stein on the night.

The historic 1960s music venue located in the NOMA district will once again be showing the last fixture as England take on Norway General Admission is priced at £1050 and doors open at 8pm. The Yard has now sold out but there is still space in the venue for walk-ins.
Popular music venue and bar YES on Charles Street will be transforming the venue into four floors of Three Lions. Tickets are priced at £5 and include a free beer. The basement area will be standing while the main bar and terrace will be seated. It all starts from 9pm.

Manchester Academy are getting in on the action too. Doors are from 8pm and thee's a number of different ticket options. General Admission tickets are £4 plus booking fee; group of four is £12 plus booking fee; and group of 8 is £20 plus booking fee.

The Wharf is best known for its canalside views, cracking roasts and huge beer garden, but some occasions call for a pivot. The Castlefield boozer doesn't usually show the football, but is making an exception. Tickets are priced at £15 which includes a drink on arrival, and can be purchased via The Wharf website.

Over in Spinningfields The Oast Hose will be showing the match too. No tickets are needed but tables are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Bear, Deansgate has announced plans for a Flannels takeover this weekend as it rebrands into The Flannels Arms, hosting football fans for England’s World Cup quarter final game against Norway.
From 8pm on Saturday, fans can soak up the ultimate matchday atmosphere with free-flowing drinks, live entertainment, British pub favourites, and premium big-screen coverage as the Three lions battle for a place in the semi-finals.
