presenting iscsi nimble vvols to new host in new cluster on vcenter

Afternoon all.I have built a new esxi host in a new new datacenter and cluster within a stretched vlan in a vcenter that has  vmfs and vvol datastores on the existing cluster and hosts.I have configured software iscsi & the host can see the the vmfs voilume but I am not able to add the vvols to the host as the host cannot be selected in the vcenter plugin. What do I need to do to get the host to see the vvols?
