Hi AllOne thing I find increasingly difficult in the Manufacture workspace is visually differentiating between setups, operations and nested patterns once a CAM job starts getting reasonably complicated. For example, I might have a linear pattern which is then used inside another pattern, potentially with further nested patterns beneath that. Once you get several layers deep, everything looks essentially the same in the browser and it becomes surprisingly difficult to tell at a glance what you’re actually working on.The Design workspace handles this sort of visual organisation much better. Components/assemblies can have their own colours, and those colours are also reflected in the timeline. Your eye can immediately distinguish between different parts of the design.I’m not necessarily suggesting that Manufacture needs to copy that exact system, but I think some form of optional visual differentiation would make complex CAM trees considerably easier to work with.A related problem occurs when you have very similar setups. For example, I often have one-up and two-up setups containing almost identical operations, or two sides of a component where much of the machining is effectively duplicated. Because everything is the same grey appearance, it’s quite easy to expand the wrong setup and start editing or creating operations in the wrong place before you realise what you’ve done.I definitely wouldn’t want Fusion to force users into assigning colours or categorising everything. It should be optional. But even something as simple as allowing a setup to have an identifying colour would help enormously. The other feature I’d really like is an “Isolate Setup” option. If I have five or six setups in a project, the Manufacture browser becomes extremely long and cluttered. It would be very useful to right-click a setup and choose something like Isolate for Editing, which temporarily hides/collapses everything belonging to the other setups so that I’m only looking at the CAM package I’m currently working on. Then I could exit isolation and return to the complete CAM tree when needed.I’ve had several occasions where I’ve simply been working in the wrong setup because everything looks so similar. With increasingly complex patterns and duplicated operations, the current browser gives you very little visual help in understanding where you are.So I think there are really two related improvements here:Optional visual differentiation of setups/patterns/operations.The ability to isolate a setup while working on it.The exact implementation could obviously vary, but anything that makes complex Manufacture trees easier to visually navigate would be a major improvement.AI re-wrote my rambling thoughts which is why this sounds polished 🙂All the best Jools
