The genome sequence of Sea Aster, Tripolium pannonicum (Jacq. Dobrocz., 1962) (Asterales: Asteraceae) [version 1; peer review: awaiting peer review]

We present a genome assembly of Tripolium pannonicum (Sea Aster; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Asterales; Asteraceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 8,348.75 megabases and 8,399.67 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (96.46%) was scaffolded into nine chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial sequences have lengths of 207.15, 83.31 and 15.99 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 153.21 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
