Alec Baldwin's eldest child Ireland made a rare, unexpected remark about one of her seven half-siblings this week.

Alec, 67, welcomed Ireland, 29, during his nine-year marriage to ex-wife Kim Basinger, 71. He is also father to seven children with current wife, Hilaria Baldwin, 41.

And on Tuesday, Ireland left a rare comment under one of stepmom Hilaria's Instagram posts featuring her younger, half-sister Carmen, who is the eldest of the couple's seven kids.

Hilaria uploaded a recent photo of 11-year-old Carmen nearly towering over her as the mother-daughter duo posed in front of a mirror at their home in New York City.

Along with the adorable snapshot, Hilaria also shared two throwback photos of a much-younger version of Carmen in the same location with a crying and pink heart emojis beside the caption: 'She's grown.'

'Stop,' Ireland replied alongside a teary-eyed emoji in response to her half-sister getting older before adding another comment, which read, 'NOOOOOO.'

Ireland's rare comment comes just weeks after Hilaria shared a photo of three of her and Alec's daughters in matching sundresses at the end of July with the caption that they were missing Ireland as well as Ireland's two-year-old daughter Holland. 

In her caption, Hilaria wrote: 'Love these moments and their little poses. Just missing Ireland and Holland.'

Alec wed Hilaria back in 2012, a decade after he and ex Kim finalized their contentious divorce.

Along with Carmen, the couple, who celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in June, share daughters Maria, three, Ilaria, two, and sons Rafael, nine, son Leonardo, seven, Romeo, six, Eduardo, four.

On his and his wife Hilaria's new TLC reality show, The Baldwins, Alec said Ireland 'loves' her half-siblings.

He also revealed Ireland is 'very sweet to them and she's their older sister but she's not in that pack.' 

During the same interview, Alec opened up about his first attempt at fatherhood nearly three decades ago, admiting that he regretted how he treated Ireland when she was a child. 

'My relationship with my daughter Ireland was so negatively impacted by my divorce from her mother,' he said, referring to his seven-year-long divorce proceeding with Basinger. 

He explained that settling their financial agreements took 18 months while 'everything else was custody.' 

He admitted the custody battle was 'just insanity' and 'really, really tough.' 

'One of my most regrettable things about the whole thing was how it affected Ireland.' 

In 2007, a voicemail leaked in which he called his then-11-year-old daughter a 'rude, thoughtless, little pig.' 

In the years since, Ireland has said she and her dad have mended their relationship to a loving one.  

Since then, Ireland has also welcomed a child of her own, becoming a mother as Alec graduated to become a first-time grandfather. 

Ireland began dating musician André Allen Anjos, a.k.a. RAC, in 2021, and she gave birth to their daughter Holland in May 2023.
