Hilaria Baldwin made a staggering $95,000 for selling the first public photos of her eldest daughter Carmen, she has revealed.

The 41-year-old fitness influencer and her husband Alec Baldwin, 67, are now juggling a formidable total of seven children - Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, nine, Romeo, seven, Eduardo, five, Lucía, four, and Ilaria, three. 

Now she has explained her evolving thinking with regards to the celebrity habit of concealing their children's faces from photographers, on The Viall Files. 

She 'found that the more I did that, the more paparazzi there were, and again the culture - even though 12 years ago is not a long time - it was very different back then.'

As a result she 'sold the first photos of the first few kids' but 'donated all the money to charity 'cause it felt like a gross thing anyway, so I was going to do it and then I donated that money,' she told The Bachelor alum Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy.

She shared that her earnings from Carmen's photos went 'to an organization in Mallorca - where my family lives - for children who have been sexually abused.'

Hilaria, who was born Hilary Hayward-Thomas in Boston, has been a frequent target of mockery since she was in exposed in 2020 for having faked her Spanish heritage.

However she has spoken Spanish since childhood and grew up frequently traveling to Mallorca, where her parents have resided since 2011.

When it came to selling the photos of her children, Hilaria's line of thinking ran: 'Okay, here's a system. Somebody's going to make money off of this, whether somebody who's chasing me down the street or this system. There's money to be had and I'm going to put that in a good place.'

Although she sold photos of her 'first few' progeny, the practice 'became less of a thing as I had more children, and for everybody - the business is changing - and I just started Instagramming them. And it went from tons of people trying to get this photo to, I put it on there, not gonna get chased around as much.'

Hilaria revealed that someone 'much more famous than me' taught her that the more she 'put the photo up, the lower the bounty is and the less harassment you get.'

Her disclosure comes after she was trolled for the painting of herself she keeps in the living room of the Hamptons mansion she lives in with Alec and the children.

Created by the artist Brendan O’Connell, the massive picture was apparently inspired by a paparazzi photo of Hilaria going grocery shopping and showed her in front of shelves filled with boxes of Rice-A-Roni. 

The painting came up as the Baldwins proudly showed off their Amagansett estate over the summer for a photo profile in the New York Times.

‘I have to admit that I’m extraordinarily embarrassed that there is a gigantic painting of me in this room,' Hilaria claimed to the newspaper at the time. 'It’s like: “Welcome to my living room. Here is a painting of me.”’ 

In September, when her husband reposted some highlights from the New York Times photo profile to Instagram, the painting came in for hooting derision in the comments.

Social media users sniggered: 'This is multi-faceted rage bait,' 'She can't be too embarrassed with the picture bc she hung it up,' and: 'Only a narcissist would have their pic in there living room. Who wants to see that!!!'

Last month Alec relisted his sprawling 10,000-square foot mansion in the Hamptons, now with a staggering asking price of $21 million, via TMZ.

The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home includes a pool, covered balconies and a spa, and is situated on a sprawling 10-acre estate in Amagansett, New York.

In the 2000s, when Baldwin was dating Sex and the City actress Kristin Davis and the relationship was floundering, she confessed to her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker that she was reluctant to leave him because of his 'incredible house in Amagansett.' 

The 30 Rock star first acquired the property in 1996 for a mere $1.75 million and then put it on the market in 2022 for a whopping $29 million.

By January 2024 he had slashed the price to nearly $19 million and starred in a real estate video plugging the home, saying he was 'always happiest' while there.

He took the house off the market that summer after failing to find a buyer amid the ongoing controversy over the Rust shooting, but he has now relisted it for $2 million more than it was selling for last year.
