A breakfast sandwich from Mike & Patty's.
One of Boston’s hottest breakfast sandwich shops has landed at Logan Airport.
Mike & Patty’s, known for its fully-loaded egg sandwiches, just opened in Terminal C, announced MarketPlace Logan, which manages the concessions program at Logan Airport.
Rich Davey, CEO of the Massachusetts Port Authority, called Mike & Patty’s “an iconic sandwich shop in Boston” in a video taken during the opening celebration this week.
“Let me tell you, if you’re looking for a breakfast sandwich, these guys have the best one in the city,” Davey said. “The food is fantastic. You will not be disappointed.”
Food Network has called Mike & Patty’s sandwiches “genius menu creations between bread.”
The location offers the full Mike & Patty’s menu, which includes the popular The Fancy, comprised of Vital Farms pasture-raised fried eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, smashed avocado, red onions, and house mayo on a toasted Flourhouse multigrain. The restaurant also serves BLTs, turkey sandwiches, and vegan options.
Mike & Patty’s tiny flagship location in Bay Village, which is just 175 square feet, opened in 2008. Ania Zaroda and Michael Gurevich took over the business in 2012 and now there are locations in Jamaica Plain, Newton, Lexington, Somerville, and at High Street Place Food Hall downtown.
The restaurant’s airport hours are 5:30 a.m. to 30 min prior to the final flight of the day.
Last month, iconic North End bakery Mike’s Pastry announced it will open in Logan Airport’s Terminal C later this year.
