Erica Synths have just introduced a new bundle that brings their praised Eurorack drum modules together into a complete all-in-one system.

The Konstrukt-8 Assembled comprises eight modules, combining four of Erica’s drum voices with a BBD-based delay, a compressor, a mixer and a drum sequencer. The system has been designed to encourage experimentation, and offers a hands-on approach with no menu systems, presets or shared controls in sight. Every parameter has its own front-panel control, and every voice has its own sequencer channel, allowing users to focus purely on creating and shaping their sounds.

The kit includes the following four all-analogue drum voices:

• Kick Drum: a resonant bridged-T network that produces deep, punchy kicks.
• Snare Drum: a burst of filtered transistor noise layered over a tuned resonator that creates crisp snares.
• Hi-Hat: Six dissonant square-wave oscillators that are mixed, filtered and overdriven to create metallic hi-hats.
• FM Drum: Two interacting oscillators form a versatile percussion voice capable of kicks, toms, bells, cymbal-like sounds – and even simple basslines and leads.

• Four fully analogue drum voices: kick, snare, hi-hat, FM drum.
• Shift register-based performance sequencer.
• Two sync’able triangle LFOs for voice modulation.
• Four-channel mixer with per-channel effects send/return.
• Variable master diode distortion plus master insert point.
• Analog BBD with flanger and delay modes.
• Diode-based compressor with side-chain capability.
• Headphone and line-level outputs.

Two versions of the system are available: the Konstrukt-8 Assembled module set, which includes the modules themselves, and the Konstrukt-8 Assembled system, which comes fitted in a case with an integrated power supply.

The Konstrukt-8 Assembled is available now, priced at €520 for the assembled module set and €640 for the assembled system.
