From recent comments from Andrea Rossi it seems that the quest to achieve reliable SSM with the E-Cat is going quite well. Rossi has said that they want to do the global presentation with the SSM “for obvious reasons”. Demonstrating a self-sustaining electricity generator would obviously be more impressive than a self-sustaining heater (but I think a heater would still be very impressive)

In a question posted on June 26, Rossi was asked whether the probabilities of the SSM version of the E-Cat had increased or diminished. His reply:

“Today in particular I can answer INCREASED, because today we reached an important goal”.

He did not elaborate on what goal had been achieved, but he stated that the next report will be published on July 4th.
