The vivo S2 5G is expected to launch in India soon, marking the return of the company’s vivo S-series after nearly 7 years. The last S-series smartphone introduced in the country was the vivo S1, which debuted in August 2019. Ahead of the official launch, a new leak has revealed the handset’s color options, dimensions, pricing, and several key specifications.

According to industry sources, the vivo S2 5G will be available in three color variants:

• Sapphire Blue
• Regal Bronze
• Silk White

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 3D Curved AMOLED display with slim bezels for an edge-to-edge viewing experience.

The leaked dimensions suggest minor differences between the color variants.

The Silk White model is tipped to measure 8.10 mm thick and weigh 199 grams.

Meanwhile, the Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze variants are expected to measure 7.99 mm in thickness and weigh 197 grams.

According to a tipster named PassionateGeekz, the expected retail prices are:

• 8 GB + 128 GB: ₹51,999
• 8 GB + 256 GB: ₹55,999

These prices are said to be before any launch offers or bank discounts.

The leak suggests the vivo S2 5G could feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The handset is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo SoC paired with 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage. Earlier reports had suggested Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, making the processor details inconsistent at this stage.

For photography, the latest leak points to a 50 MP primary camera alongside a 2 MP secondary sensor. Earlier leaks had instead mentioned an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, so the final camera configuration remains uncertain.

On the front, the smartphone is expected to feature a 32 MP selfie camera.

Other rumoured features include:

Leaked dummy images also show a pill-shaped horizontal camera module, housing two camera sensors on the left and a circular light ring on the right.

The vivo S2 has been officially teased for India, while leaks suggest a launch on 6th August 2026 and sales beginning 11th August 2026. vivo is expected to announce the official launch date and complete specifications in the coming days.
