Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on Googlevivo India has teased the launch of the vivo T5 Lite 5G, the company’s upcoming budget 5G smartphone in the T series. The device will succeed last year’s vivo T4 Lite 5G, bringing notable upgrades in battery capacity and charging while retaining the series’ focus on affordable 5G connectivity.

The company has confirmed that the vivo T5 Lite 5G will pack a 6,500 mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support. Compared to its predecessor (vivo T4 Lite 5G), this marks a significant upgrade from the 6,000 mAh battery and 15W charging, promising longer battery life and considerably faster charging speeds.

The teaser image also reveals a redesigned rear camera module with a vertically aligned camera layout, while the top frame appears to feature a speaker vent.

While vivo has yet to reveal the complete specifications, recent reports suggest the smartphone will retain several features from the previous generation.

Expected specifications include:

• MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G SoC
• 6.74-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch
• 50 MP primary rear camera
• 5 MP front camera
• IP65 dust and water resistance, upgraded from IP64 on the predecessor

Additional specifications are expected to be confirmed closer to launch.

The vivo T5 Lite 5G will be available on Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and authorized offline retail outlets after launch. While vivo has not announced an official launch date yet, the smartphone is expected to debut in India later this month.
