Percy Jackson just can't seem to catch a break. The titular demigod is back in action in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, based on The Titan's Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan's best-selling book series. Since the Disney+ show's debut in 2023, Percy has braved the horrors of the underworld and a variety of ocean-faring beasts, including a sea monster, sirens, and a cyclops. It makes sense that the son of Poseidon's world will get even darker and more complex as he grows up. Hints of the dangers to come were first teased in a brief, 30-second teaser that debuted in July 2026 at San Diego Comic-Con.
Set to debut on the streaming service on November 20, 2026, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 sees the hero embark on his most dangerous quest yet after a mission goes horribly wrong. Fans got their best look to date at Season 3 at D23, where Disney released a nearly two-minute-long teaser trailer depicting several notable moments from the beloved novel. Moments shown in the trailer include the debut of the Hunters of Artemis, the disappearance of one of Percy's closest friends, and a junkyard face-off with an enormous metal monstrosity built by the god Hephaestus.
The official Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 synopsis details the challenges Percy and his friends will face when the hit Disney+ series returns later this year:
"Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians marks the first time that the third book — The Titan's Curse — comes to screen and is the third installment of Disney Hyperion's bestselling book series by acclaimed author Rick Riordan. The stakes are higher than ever before as Percy is faced with the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the impending Great Prophecy provided by the Oracle of Delphi, dictating the fate of Olympus. As foretold by the Oracle of Delphi, one demigod child of the "Big Three" is fated to raise Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing into ruin, with their own life hanging in the balance."
Fans will get to see how Percy and his young friends handle having the fate of the world on their shoulders when Percy Jackson and the Olympians returns to Disney+ this fall.
