Dragon Ball Z Officially Brings Back Goku & Frieza's Final Namek Battle

Dragon Ball Z fans can finally recreated Goku and Frieza's infamous final battle in pitch-perfect fashion courtesy of the next S.H.Figuart release.

Dragon Ball Z fans are finally getting to recreate the classic anime series' most iconic battle thanks to Premium Bandai and S.H.Figuarts.
S.H.Figuarts has officially opened pre-orders for what will easily be one of the hottest collectibles of the year: the upcoming Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure. Based on Frieza's epic battle against Goku, which ultimately destroyed the entire Planet Namek, the Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure from S.H.Figuarts showcases its namesake villain in all his classic glory.
S.H. Figuarts Recreates Full Power Frieza’s Battle-Scarred Dragon Ball Z LookStanding at approximately 12.5 centimeters tall, the Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure features exaggerated muscles and a bulking, brutish form of Frieza that has rarely been glimpsed throughout his many franchise appearances. Alongside the main figure itself, the Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure includes three interchangeable heads, three pairs of interchangeable hands, replacement ankles, and a removable tail.
All of this, coupled with the numerous points of articulation, makes the Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure perfect for display posing, although there is one other key element that makes it a must-have for collectors. On top of everything else, the Full Power Frieza -Battle Scarred Edition- figure includes an interchangeable head for the recently released S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku -The Legendary Super Saiyan- figure, making the two the perfect companion pieces to one another.
Frieza made his debut in 1989 in chapter 247 of the original Dragon Ball manga, "Planet Namek, Cold and Dark," which was adapted for the Dragon Ball Z anime as the 1990 episode "Brood of Evil." The main antagonist of the overarching Frieza Saga, the eponymous villain is a ruthless force of nature who aspires to become a god unto himself at any cost, especially if it is paid by one of his many underlings.
Over his many appearances in the Dragon Ball franchise, Frieza has taken on a variety of forms ranging from the impish to the awe-striking. During the finale of the Frieza Saga, the villain launches an all-out assault that forces the series' heroes to take explicitly lethal action. While battling Goku, Frieza was caught off guard and sliced in two by one of his own Destructo Disc attacks, only to be utterly obliterated shortly after, though not before he could land his own killing blow against Vegeta.
Despite being annihilated in the fight against Goku, Frieza has returned at various points since to terrorize the likes of the Z Fighters all over again. Perhaps the most notable of these comebacks came during the Golden Frieza Saga, which played out in both versions of the Dragon Ball Super anime and is based on the events of the 2015 animated feature, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'.
