A Corvette owner in St. Louis woke up Thursday to a nightmare sight: their 2023 Corvette Stingray was gone.

According to social media posts, the Blade Silver Metallic hardtop convertible was stolen around 1 a.m., with home surveillance cameras capturing a male suspect walking straight up to the car, entering through the driver’s side, and driving off within seconds. The Corvette had been parked outside the owner’s home beside a Jeep, making the theft appear quick and deliberate.

Daytime photos show the Stingray sitting cleanly in a driveway; nighttime footage places it next to a white Jeep just moments before it vanished.

The owner is asking the public to keep an eye out and report any sightings immediately by contacting @lyriqameree or @1chimere. Neighbors are also encouraged to check their own security cameras for anything unusual around the time of the theft.

Voice of the People News reports that high end vehicle thefts continue to climb across the region, with thieves increasingly targeting newer models equipped with keyless entry systems—Corvettes included.

The message from residents and local watch groups is simple: stay alert, lock everything down, and if a spotless Corvette rolls through your neighborhood looking out of place, it just might be.
