Jackbox Games has announced a Fibbage board game. The developer, most well-known for multiplayer games like Quiplash and You Don't Know Jack, is returning to the tabletop space, adapting the game all about getting your friends to believe false facts.

The Fibbage board game will be produced by both Wilder Toys and Jackbox Games. The game is designed for 3-6 players. One player is the Revealer who draws and reads out loud a trivia card with a missing answer. The Revealer secretly writes down the real answer while the players write down a believable fake answer. 

All of those answers are then collected, shuffled, and revealed. Players then vote on which answer they think is correct. The player whose answer gets the most votes earns a point. The first player to reach six points is declared the winner. How good are you at spotting a fake answer? How good are you at making something up? Find out with your friends.

A copy of the Fibbage board game contains over 300 Trivia Cards, 54 Voting/Scoring Cards, six reusable dry-erase whiteboards, and six markers. Everything you need to start playing in a small box.

The Fibbage board game is the second board game adaptation of Jackbox's work. The first was 2024's Fakin' It board game, also adapted by Wilder Toys. That tabletop adaptation was an asymmetric experience where each player scores points by completing a secret task. The twist is that one player doesn't know what their objective is, so they have to bluff.

This restraint of board game adaptations is notable since Jackbox's body of work is made up entirely of online multiplayer party games. Their games, known as The Jackbox Party Pack series, are full of eclectic social experiences such as Drawful, Trivia Murder Party, and Tee KO. All of these games can be played on consoles, PC, or smartphones

The Fibbage board game is available now at retail store Target at an MSRP of $19.99. The game will be available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and other retailers at an undisclosed future date.
