Ogie Diaz had this strong statement about recent issue with Kim Chiu

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the allegations of using Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu for monetization.

Just recently, Kim became a trending topic on social media because of her viral “Ryzza Mae” joke. To recall, she was criticized for calling her It’s Showtime host Jugs Jugueta, dressed in “Lotus Feet” costume, as “Ryzza Mae.”

Kim was accused of demeaning Eat Bulaga host Ryzza Mae Dizon, while her fans defended her and stressed that Jugs indeed looks like the former Little Miss Philippines.

That “joke” garnered polarizing opinions on social media. One of the people who talked about this was Ogie Diaz. Through his Showbiz Update YouTube talk show, he shared an encounter with Kim Chiu.

It was said, “Buti pinapasok kayo,” and then, just went to her dressing room. Ogie said that Kim might have that moment again that she was not really aware of what she was sayin,g just like what happened in her viral “bawal lumabas” statement, and her viral “Ryzza Mae” joke.

Fans of the Kapamilya actress-host defended her against Ogie’s statement. and for them, the talent manager-vlogger deserved that kind of treatment from Kim.

Even though Kim did not answer this issue, she reposted a post from a fan saying that “respect begets respect.”

In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, Kim reacted to a post from a netizen about being a trending topic these past few days.

“Ano bang meron kay Ate Kimmy at hindi niyo kayang tigilan?araw-araw na lang may new issue na pilit niyong ginagawa. Wala na ba talagang ibang mapagkaabalahan?Ang daming totoong problema sa paligid, pero mas inuuna niyo pa ang buhay ng isang taong tahimik lang namang nagtatrabaho,” a netizen tweeted.

Kim reposted this with the caption saying that she is these people’s cravings, and that it is because of monetization. She also said she is happy to help other people.

“Truelamey!!! #cravings nila ako! Bet na bet! for monetization isama ko na din cguro to sa #KimChiuCharityProgram monetization is the key. You’re welcome po. makatulong man lang sa pang araw araw,” she wrote.

Even though Kim did not mention Ogie, a netizen commented and tagged the talent manager-vlogger. “Halaaaa ginagamit mo raw for monetization oh. sana nakatulong raw siya sa pang araw araw mo @ogiediaz,” the netizen wrote.

This caught Ogie’s attention, and shared his thoughts on this issue. “Salamat po. Nakatulong din tayo para makaangat ang isang artista sa mga panahong kailangan nilang makilala at sumikat. At ma-monetize ang career,” he said.
