Kapuso veteran host Kim Atienza earned negative reactions from netizens because of his comment on a post about shared by a single woman.

In recent months, netizens have been praising the veteran TV host for his advocacy focusing on mental health after the death of his daughter, social media personality Emman Atienza. His youngest child was known for being very vocal about mental health issues and her personal struggles back then.

The veteran TV host also received positive comments for helping those who struggling because of their mental health issues. He even took an effort to become a certified mental health wellness facilitator.

However, on Reddit, Kim Atienza jus recently received negative reactions because of a screenshot showing his reply to a post shared by a single woman. “Kuya Kim Strikes again! Matang Lawin talaga,” the netizen who uploaded this wrote in the caption.

The screenshot showed selfie photos of the woman, and in the caption, she shared that her name is Elena, and she is 37 years old. She also said that she is single and has no children. Then, she said, “age is just a number.”

Kuya Kim replied to this saying hi to Elena and introduced himself. “Hello Elena. My name is Kuya Kim but Kuya is not a name, it’s a term meaning older brother. I am almost 60, there are 60 seconds to a minute and 60 minutes to an hour. Thanks bye,” the Kapuso TV host wrote.
