ANGEL LOCSIN – The actress penned an open letter for Senator-judge Robin Padilla amid the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Amid the tackling of the impeachment complaint against Vice Pres. Duterte in the Senate, several individuals who support and are against against the Vice President over the accusations against her appeared before the Senate. The senator-judges have also expressed their stand in many issues — some not only about the Vice President but as well as her family members.

The controversial “Romanov” statement of Davao Mayor Baste Duterte was tackled by the senator-judges as well. At the impeachment trial, Senator-judge Robin Padilla questioned National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Regional Director Jeremy Lotoc over the “Operation Romanov” as he stressed that he is also a communist.

At the hearing, NBI Regional Dir. Jeremy Lotoc stressed his belief that the “threats” of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte against Pres. Bongbong Marcos are supposedly not covered by the Freedom of Speech. The Vice President previously claimed in a Facebook video that she hired someone to kill the President as well as the First Lady and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez if a supposed plot against her triumphs.

According to Lotoc, it will be chaotic for the country if such remarks will be considered as part of Freedom of Speech. As for Sen. Robin Padilla, the NBI Director should allegedly face the complaints against him.

Recently, amid the social media hiatus of Angel Locsin, the actress broke her silence to express her sentiment following the “komunista po ako” statement of Senator-judge Robin Padilla. Through a post, the actress questioned Padilla when she was the one being red-tagged.

Angel Locsin further told Sen. Robin Padilla through the open letter that many people voted for him to be the voice of the Muslim people but now he is in defense of Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder and leader Apollo Quiboloy. The actress also stated that she is sad over the stand of the Senator on the country’s issue with China.

Angel Locsin cited that she and Sen. Robin Padilla had the same fate of coming from a poor family who had to work early and entertained the people. In her open letter, the actress reminded the Senator that his debt of gratitude should be to God.

Previously, amid the impeachment trial, Sen. Robin Padilla admitted to seeking the help of Google in understanding the legal terms. He stressed that he is also a graduate of U.P. but it’s a different one — the “University of Prison”.
