Following the British Grand Prix on July 5, many fans have developed a renewed enthusiasm for racing-inspired timepieces. Leading the charge is TAG Heuer's F1 collection of watches, boasting a distinguished heritage in motorsport stretching back to 1986.
According to pre-owned watch specialists Watchfinder and Co., TAG Heuer is commanding the market in racing-inspired watches, representing 73% of all sales within the category over the past 12 months. One particular model synonymous with motorsport is currently available to F1 enthusiasts at a significant 20% reduction.
While Goldsmiths ordinarily retails the TAG Heuer Formula 1 43mm Men's Watch Blue at £1,600, motorsport enthusiasts can purchase it for £1,280 just in time for the Belgium Grand Prix. The timepiece is among the latest additions to the TAG Heuer F1 range, having previously been exclusive to the Watches of Switzerland Group (WOSG).

The classic-style quartz watch features a minimalist blue dial showcasing oversized "6" and "12" numerals. This blue colourway is complemented by a matching blue rubber strap, with the overall aesthetic drawing direct inspiration from Formula 1 racing.
The timepiece is also water-resistant to 200 metres, while the casing is constructed from stainless steel, enhancing its robustness and potential lifespan. At 43mm in diameter, the watch should prove comfortable on the majority of men's wrists, reports the Manchester Evening News.
However, the price tag may be beyond the reach of many shoppers. For those working with a tighter budget, there is an extensive selection of luxury timepieces currently available at various retailers, such as Debenhams - albeit unrelated to F1.

The Heritor Automatic Aura features a surgical-grade stainless steel case complemented by extravagant jewelled bearings and a jewelled automatic movement. It also comes paired with a crocodile-embossed leather strap, lending an additional touch of sophistication to the timepiece.
It is further equipped with a logo-engraved steel clasp to keep the watch firmly secured without compromising on elegance. The watch itself boasts a 44mm diameter and carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating.
Tudor's distinctively coloured Black Bay S&G watch is designed for those seeking a classically styled timepiece. It features a stainless steel and yellow gold bracelet with yellow gold centre links.
The rotating bezel additionally incorporates a 0.3mm yellow gold cap mounted with a matt black aluminium disc.
The watch is waterproof to 200m and comes with a champagne-coloured dome dial. The crystal covering the watch face is equally impressive, being crafted from durable sapphire crystal glass.
The STÜHRLING Original Ultima 3960 boasts a 42mm round stainless steel casing with a matching stainless steel link bracelet. Powered by a battery-operated quartz movement, it also features a built-in chronograph alongside a date display window.
The timepiece carries a water resistance rating of up to 100 metres, enhancing its overall durability. Complementing this is a stainless steel watch face, lending the piece a distinctly industrial aesthetic.
The STÜHRLING Original Anatol is driven by a self-winding automatic movement, removing any requirement for batteries. It also showcases a skeleton see-through dial that reveals its inner workings.
The casing is notably substantial, measuring 46mm across, and is paired with a sophisticated alligator-embossed leather strap. Water resistance extends to 50 metres, offering reliable protection against splashes and brief submersion.
