Creature Comforts Brewing Company will open the Creature Comforts Beer Garden to the public this Friday at 4 p.m. in Chattanooga’s Foundries District. Housed in the historic “Shed” building just steps from the new home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, Erlanger Park, the space is designed as a gathering place for fans, residents and visitors alike.
The Beer Garden will feature Creature Comforts’ full lineup of core, seasonal and limited release beers. As part of Creature’s commitment to the community it serves, the brand is hosting and honoring United Way of Greater Chattanooga volunteers on its opening night with complimentary baseball game tickets and a behind-the-scenes stadium tour.
“Creature Comforts has been available in Chattanooga since 2022, and opening this beer garden gives us an exciting new way to connect with fans in person,” said Co-Founder and CEO Adam Beauchamp.
“We’re excited to join the Foundries District’s next chapter by creating a space designed to bring people together. It’s especially meaningful to open the Beer Garden to the public by celebrating United Way of Greater Chattanooga volunteers and recognizing the impact they make in Chattanooga.”
The Beer Garden will operate on most game days, non-game-day weekends and numerous other occasions, including community-driven activations, live music, art and local food events. As the Foundries District develops, Creature Comforts plans to transition into a permanent, long-term location next door along the Riverwalk.
“Creature Comforts is demonstrating the impact businesses across our community can make just by showing up and asking how they can help,’ said Terran Anderson, vice president of community and corporate engagement at United Way of Greater Chattanooga. “By sharing their special night to honor United Way volunteers and local nonprofits, Creature is highlighting how important a connected community is to help local families thrive.”
"Known for its wide range of highly rated and award-winning beers, Creature Comforts has experienced incredible growth since its inception, becoming the 31st largest craft brewery in America," officials said.
