We’re looking for a hands-on operational leader to oversee the day-to-day delivery of residential services across our student accommodation.About the roleYou’ll manage multiple teams who provide cleaning, portering, housekeeping and other support services, ensuring residences are safe, consistent and delivered to high standards.With a strong focus on people leadership, you’ll recruit, train, motivate and coordinate staff to keep our residences running smoothly. As the key operational lead for your campus area, you’ll take ownership of service delivery so the Head of Residential Operations can focus on strategic direction.About youYou will have:proven experience as a confident people leader, managing frontline operational teamsstrong skills in workforce planning, including recruitment, training and day-to-day HR processesthe ability to organise and coordinate cleaning, portering and support services to consistently high standardsa calm, practical and solutions-focused approach within a busy, customer-centred environmentexperience motivating teams, building positive working relationships and maintaining high service qualitythe confidence to take ownership of operational delivery while contributing to wider strategic objectivesa commitment to creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed residential environment for studentsIf you’re an organised, people-focused manager who thrives in a busy, customer-centred environment, this role puts you at the heart of creating an excellent student living experience.Further informationCore hours of work will fall between 07:00 and 17:20, to be worked flexibly as required by operational needs. However, operating hours begin at 05.00 with occasional weekend work.
