Support for Shared "Skill Files" (.md) for Complex Query Automation in Revit AI Assistant

Дата публикации: 22-06-2026 04:29:25

I am looking for a way to encapsulate complex, conditional queries into reusable "skills" within Revit Assistant. Currently, executing design validation requires inputting lengthy prompts with multiple logical conditions. For example, to calculate Gross Floor Area (GFA), the prompt must explicitly state: "Get GFA if the IFC entity is ifcSpace, the ifcObjectType is AREA-GFA, and DevelopUse has a value, then calculate the total area."Manually entering these conditions every time is inefficient and difficult to scale across the company. Instead, I would like to define these rules in a structured Skill Markdown (.md) file. This would allow a user to simply type a high-level command like "Get GFA of this building," and the Assistant would automatically resolve the underlying logic. Key RequirementsStandardized Format: Use exportable .md files to define prompts, intents, and conditional logic.Centralized & Local Distribution: Ability to host and retrieve these skill files from a local on-premises directory or an content catalogue.Seamless Sharing: Easy deployment across the entire organization to ensure consistent design validation workflows.
