Hello everyone,
I am facing a strange issue after upgrading my eGPU setup and would appreciate any technical insight.
My setup
The problem
Previously, I used a Radeon RX 6700 XT with this exact same dock and cable and it worked perfectly. Afterwards, I switched to a PC and the video card migrated to it. Afterwards, I upgraded the video card to a 9070, and now the situation again forces me to use an external video card.
After swapping to the new Radeon RX 9070, the eGPU dock refuses to initialize. Upon plugging the Thunderbolt cable into the laptop, the main LED on the TH3P4G3 V4 stays solid blue (Standby mode). The PSU does not click, the GPU fans do not spin, and the power LEDs around 8-pins on the RX 9070 itself remain completely dead. Windows Device Manager shows absolutely no hardware changes.
Important clues
The "Smartphone test": If I plug a smartphone into the main thunderbolt port of the dock and laptop into the second port, the TH3P4G3 V4 instantly clicks, turns Green, the PSU fires up, but GPU is still not detected.
The "Data Port" behavior: If I plug the laptop into the Data-Only port of the dock, the local port LED turns Green, but the GPU is not detected.
What I have already tried (None of this fixed the issue):
Clean Windows install: Reinstalled Windows 11 to wipe any driver conflicts.
DDU clean: Completely wiped all AMD drivers in Safe Mode(before reinstalling Windows).
PSU paperclip trick: If I bridge pins 4 and 5 (PS-ON to GND) on the 24-pin motherboard cable, the PSU forces the dock powered on and switch turns Green. However, even in this state, plugging the cable into the laptop results in complete silence - no Windows connection sound, no new devices in Device Manager.
Questions
Thank you in advance!

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Is it the same laptop now as before with 6700xt? If no, then probably your current laptop is the cause of the problem: like PCIe tunneling disabled or TB security settings.
Regardless, try connecting your whole eGPU setup to another laptop and see if it works.

Dock also works with Nvidia card with lenovo, but not with my redmibook. What can it be?

@aukin_gleb, most probably it's the RedmiBook's UEFI firmware: probably some firmware update either broke PCIe tunneling completely or reset some settings. Review all UEFI settings and if nothing helps try downgrading the firmware.
A hardware failure of some component of the RedmiBook related to PCIe tunneling is also possible, but less likely.
