The character - played by Tony Clay - is currently raising stepdaughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) - and dating Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff).
In the episode aired on February 18, Callum received divorce papers from estranged, incarcerated husband Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
However, eagle-eyed viewers soon pointed out a glaring error in one line of the documents.
It highlights that Callum 'needs to respond to the email that your wife provided for you', despite the fact he'd been married to a man.
Taking to X, one fan shared a screenshot of the document and wrote: 'Your wife? WIFE?'

The police officer married Ben Mitchell in 2021 - with Callum currently raising Ben's daughter Lexi
Callum received divorce papers from Ben last week - but fans noted the documents referred to Ben as Callum's 'wife'
Another added: 'So embarrassing. They're not even trying anymore.'
Nicknamed 'Ballum' by fans, Ben and Callum were a popular couple on the soap for years.
Their getting together also marked Callum coming out, as he had been in the closet and engaged to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty).
Meanwhile, it's not the first awkward blunder that EastEnders fans have noticed in recent episodes.
Earlier this month, viewers clocked the moment an actor had a line whispered to them off camera – and were shocked to see that the BBC kept it in.
As Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) were chatting in the Queen Vic, a whispered voice could be heard saying one of Ravi's lines: 'I can't even speak to my kids about it right now'.
This occurred right before Aaron, 32, delivered the line – with the exact reason for the whisper being unclear.
Writing online, viewers shared their reactions to the blunder after spotting it in last Wednesday's episode
One viewer soon took to TikTok and highlighted the apparent glaring production mistake.
Posting the clip – which originally aired on February 2 – they penned: 'How did they approve this?
'Listen closely with volume up.
'Someone whispers Ravi’s line to him: "I can’t even speak to my kids about it right now."'
They added in the caption: 'Oopsie!! Also this is no hate to the actors in the slightest, nor hate at all to anyone.
'Simply pointing out a mistake as been coming across lots of ones like these recently.'
With Ben currently incarcerated, Callum has since begun a relationship with longtime family friend Johnny Carter

They concluded: 'Hopefully someone from BBC sees this and can start cracking down on quality control.'
Prior to this, Boxing Day 2025's episode saw Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) deliver gut-wrenching news to a devastated Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker).
Namely, that Patrick's son Anthony (Nicholas Bailey) had been killed on Christmas Day.
Upon hearing this, the much-loved character sobbed: 'Not again, not again, not again. Two sons – why?'
As Rudolph delivered the line, eagle-eyed fans spotted co-star Scott mouthing the words along with him.
Writing online, one fan penned: 'Anyone else notice Jack mumbling Patrick's line while he said it "Two sons, not again."'
They later added: 'I had to watch it again, definitely mumbling the lines, surprised they didn't redo the scene, its so obvious.'
Another remarked: 'I would understand if it was a live episode but that was some shocking editing.'
While a third chimed in: 'It looks like he’s empathising, feeling the emotion as Patrick is saying the line. I didn’t think he was mumbling the same line.'
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available to stream on iPlayer.
