EastEnders fans have been left gobsmacked by two characters' dramatic height difference - demanding to know 'just how tall is he?!'
Monday's (March 30) episode of the BBC soap saw an unlikely duo side-by-side, much to viewers' amusement.
Oscar Branning and Vinny Panesar are portrayed by actors Pierre Counihan-Mouiller and Shiv Jalota, respectively.
Vinny brought Oscar along as he chatted to his partner - and Oscar's cousin - Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine).
However, the pair's height difference was made crystal clear, with Oscar towering over Vinny.
One viewer wrote on X: 'Just how tall is Oscar? I’m sure Vinny isn’t that small!'
EastEnders fans were very amused by the height difference between Oscar Branning and Vinny Panesar
Last year, Oscar Branning headed back to Albert Square after eight years away, with Pierre Counihan-Mouiller taking over the role
Another remarked: 'The height difference is killing me Btw who is dressing Vinny??? #eastenders.'
Meanwhile, a third jokingly branded the mismatched duo as 'little and large'.
In the storyline, Penny has fallen pregnant after sleeping with Vinny on New Year's Day.
Although the end of Monday's episode revealed a major bombshell: a hospital scan revealed Penny is seemingly further along in her pregnancy than she thought.
Confiding in cousins Oscar and Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), she admitted Vinny therefore might not be the father of her baby.
It could very well be Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), whom she had a secret one-time fling with - and the timing would fit.
Lauren argued both men should be aware of the situation, but Oscar advocated that Penny keep this to herself.
But just who will turn out to be the father remains to be seen.
It comes as former EastEnders star Himesh Patel has landed a leading role in the reboot of The X Files.
The-35-year-old star, who first got his big break working on the BBC soap as a teenager, played Tamwar Masood in Albert Square.
However, he couldn't be any further from his roots as he has been cast in Ryan Coogler's reboot pilot of The X Files.
The project was picked up by US streaming giant Hulu last month.
Himesh will star alongside BAFTA-nominated actress Danielle Deadwyler, where they will play two 'vastly different' FBI agents.
At the end of Monday's episode, Penny dropped the bombshell that Vinny - presumed to be the father of her unborn baby - may not actually be
A logline for the reboot, seen by Variety, reads: 'Two highly decorated but vastly different FBI agents (Deadwyler, Patel) form an unlikely bond when they are assigned to a long-shuttered division devoted to cases involving unexplained phenomena.'
The publication also reports both stars will be playing entirely new characters, rather than iterations of Fox Mulder and Dr. Dana Scully.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson played the fan-favourite roles across 11 series.
Danielle, 43, has a raft of prestigious nominations, including for her work as Mamie Till-Mobley in the film Till.
Notably, she was up for the Best Actress in a Leading Role gong at the 2023 BAFTA Film and TV awards.
Himesh and Danielle have previously worked together, starring in miniseries Station Eleven in 2021.
His portrayal of town doctor and devoted family man Jeevan Chaudhary earned Himesh an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie in 2022.
He left EastEnders in 2016 when his character ran off with then girlfriend Nancy Carter.
Two years later, he earned worldwide fame by bagging the lead role in what became his breakthrough film Yesterday.
