WESTON, MO. — Holladay Distillery, the oldest distillery in Missouri still operating at its original location in Weston, launched Holladay Bourbones dog treats, marking its foray into the pet food industry. 

Bourbones are all-natural treats formulated with the same grains Holladay uses to make its bourbon. The bacon-flavored treats are manufactured in Kansas City, Mo., and are designed to serve as an occasional treat or reward for training, good behavior or adventures.

The treats are packaged in barrel-shaped packaging reminiscent of bourbon barrels, nodding to Holladay’s heritage.

“We wanted to create something that was uniquely Holladay, but also something people could have a little fun with,” said Stephanie Taylor, sales and marketing manager of Holladay Distillery. “Our fans love their bourbon, and they love their dogs. Bourbones brings those two things together in a way that feels natural to our brand, with the added bonus of giving back to animals in need.”

One dollar from every barrel of treats sold will support animal organizations in need. This year, Bourbones will support Wayside Waifs, a nonprofit based in Kansas City that serves thousands of animals and families throughout the community.
