Are prices for C7 Corvette Z06s finally beginning to come back down to earth?

It’s too early to draw conclusions from one auction, but an ultra-low-mileage 2016 Z06 currently listed on Bring a Trailer offers some interesting food for thought.

With just one day remaining, the high bid on this Arctic White Z06 coupe stands at only $44,000.

That’s less than half its original sticker price of $90,860.

Of course, anyone familiar with Bring a Trailer knows the real bidding often doesn’t begin until the final minutes.

Still, it’s surprising considering this Corvette has traveled just 6,000 miles in the past decade and comes equipped with the highly desirable seven-speed manual transmission.

And this isn’t some totally stripped-down example, either.

The car features the top-of-the-line 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, which adds plenty of luxury to the Z06’s impressive performance credentials.

Under the vented carbon-fiber hood is Chevrolet’s supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8, producing a factory-rated 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

In other words, this is a serious performance machine that still offers the increasingly rare pleasure of rowing your own gears.

The Arctic White exterior is complemented by Dark Gray leather upholstery, while the car rides on Pearl Nickel-finished Z06 wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. Yellow Brembo brake calipers add a splash of color.

The seller says the Corvette remains stock except for an ACS Composite Stage 2 aerodynamic package installed approximately two years ago.

That package includes a front splitter, rocker extensions, rear diffuser components and a wicker-bill rear spoiler modification, all finished in Carbon Flash.

Other features include a removable carbon-fiber roof panel, Magnetic Ride Control, heated and ventilated seats, a head-up display, navigation and a performance data recorder.

According to the listing, the current owner acquired the Corvette in 2022 and has added approximately 1,200 miles since then.

The battery was replaced in 2025, and the Carfax report shows no reported accidents or damage.

Included in the sale are the original window sticker, service records, manufacturer’s literature and a car cover. The Corvette comes with a clean North Carolina title.

So what’s not to like?

The C7 Z06 combines tremendous supercharged performance with the traditional front-engine layout and an available manual transmission — something no longer offered on the mid-engine C8.

But appealing doesn’t necessarily mean buyers are willing to pay yesterday’s prices.

If this 6,000-mile example sells anywhere near its current $44,000 bid, it could raise some eyebrows among C7 Z06 owners.

On the other hand, a furious last-minute bidding battle could make the whole question moot.

One thing is certain: With 650 horsepower, a seven-speed manual and just 6,000 miles on the odometer, this Arctic White Z06 has plenty going for it.

Now we’ll see just how much someone is willing to pay to put it in their garage.
