In the EDC and knifemaking worlds, Spyderco is practically synonymous with performance and quality. Unfortunately, that combination and pedigree typically also come with a high cost.
Welcome to Shop Smarter: A series dedicated to highlighting not just what’s on sale, but why it’s worth owning. Discover more here.
But if you’re patient and attentive enough, you can sometimes find the brand’s impressive offerings for way less than you’d normally spend.
Such is the case with the Spyderco Lil’ Native SlipIt, which just dropped to an all-time-low price at Blade HQ.
This compact take on the Native is more legal in more places, making it a great travel option.SpydercoAs the knife’s name suggests, this is a far more compact version of the brand’s Native silhouette, a fan favorite. This one measures just 5.89 inches open, with a 2.42-inch blade, allowing it to skirt many knife-carrying restrictions around the world.
That’s aided, of course, by its lack of a lock. Yes, the “SlipIt” in its name means this is a slipjoint non-locking knife. Yet, this pared-down gentleman’s folder still packs a performance wallop, courtesy of its materials.
This knife has a thick steel pocket clip and a lanyard hole for versatile carry options.SpydercoThe blade is short but stout, crafted from S30V steel and featuring the brand’s signature Round Hole deployment. The handle scales are grippy, weather-resistant, durable G-10. And the whole thing is finished off with a steel pocket clip (and a lanyard hole) for easier carry.
Normally priced at $225, the Spyderco Lil’ Native SlipIt is down 31 percent to just $155 at Blade HQ.
