Frey Ranch expands its limited-edition Harvester Series with Third Harvest, a $300 American whiskey featuring an unusual ingredient making its debut in the Nevada distillery’s lineup. Triticale, a hybrid of wheat and rye, accounts for more than a quarter of the five-grain blend, lending a distinctive character that draws from both parent grains. Developed with Master Blender Nancy Fraley, the 123.4-proof expression combines whiskeys aged five to eight years, with the distillery reporting flavors ranging from citrus and honey to toasted sweets. Bottles will initially be offered through Frey Ranch’s membership club and at its Nevada tasting room, followed by an online lottery beginning November 16.
