Although no stranger to leading a major movie franchise, Kristen Stewart can't see herself joining the MCU.

'I will likely never do a Marvel movie,' she said with a laugh. 'It sounds like a f***ing nightmare, actually,' the Academy Award nominee, 33, said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast this week. 

Stewart gave one piece hope. 'If Greta Gerwig asked me to do a Marvel movie, then I would do it,' she conceded.

The actress wouldn't totally rule out the possibility in the future. 'I'm a yes man,' she told host Amanda Hirsch when asked about the potential.

'The path that has sort of been carved by my life, both ways in which I've controlled that and also the ways it has just fallen off the truck, it would be so stupid to ever be like "yes," "no,"' explained Stewart.

But when further pressed, Stewart admitted it's not 'likely' she'll be teaming up with the Avengers anytime soon. 

The Twilight alum clarified, 'I like big movies because I like people to watch them when I'm in them.'

'The system would have to change, you'd have to put so much money and so much trust into one person,' she continued. 'And I think Dakota (Johnson) mentioned this as well, it doesn't happen.

'And therefore, what ends up happening is this algorithmic weird experience where you can't feel personal at all about it,' added Stewart. 

'So, likely not. But maybe the world changes. How could I tell you "no" if maybe one day…'

The Love Lies Bleeding star also admitted she's a 'super, super-duper fan' of the Barbie movie. 'Yeah, I'm obsessed,' said Stewart.

'Barbie's like The Matrix,' she said. 'I was laughing and crying the whole time. 

'I watched that movie, I think my mouth was just open and in a huge grin and then sometimes screaming,' added Stewart.

Stewart also raved about Ryan Gosling's performance of the Oscar-nominated 'I'm Just Ken' at the 96th Academy Awards.

'Let's be real. I was, for some reason, crying and laughing while watching the Ken thing,' she added. 

'It's emotional, dude, watching Greta watch it,' said Stewart. 'When they did the one cutaway of her, and she was just front row, belting, and just was looking at this thing she helped kickstart.'

Stewart can currently be seen in Love Lies Bleeding, now playing in theaters.
