Love Island: All Stars sparked welfare concerns after eleven islanders have broken down in tears on the ITV2 show - with concerned fans ranting 'what are they putting them through?!'

Since the ITV2 show hit our screens earlier this month there has been plenty of drama involving the former Love Island stars. 

The latest instalment of the programme saw a lot of the stars get emotional, including Millie Court crying to her man Curtis Pritchard about her ex Liam Reardon. 

She explained that she wanted to take a step back from getting to know the dancer, which then made Curtis very emotional. 

Curtis then started crying to Jack Keating about the situation in the garden.  

Not only that, Tommy Bradley and Samie Elishi broke down when it was revealed that Shaq Muhammad and Jess Harding were dumped from the villa. 

But even more islanders broke down in what is shaping up to be the most emotionally turbulent season ever. 

AJ Bunker got upset when Shaq told her to be less physically affectionate, Helena got emotional on day two after telling the girls she always feels like 'one of the boys', and Belle cried after admitted that she didn't want to treat her potential new man in a bad way. 

Lucinda has cried because she upset Samie about Ciaran Davies, Sean has got upset a number of times after drama with Scott van-der-Sluis, and Shaq cried over his feelings towards Belle. 

Many have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.

'How much sleep are those islanders getting at night? Cause the way everyone is crying and emotional…AJ Millie Jess Helena Belle Samie Lucinda Curtis Sean Shaq Tommy.'

An ITV spokesperson told Daily Mail: 'The emotional wellbeing of all Islanders is paramount. 

'Dedicated welfare producers monitor and speak with them all privately one-to-one, and psychological support is available 24/7. 

'Islanders are therefore fully supported by both on-site professionals and their friends in the Villa.' 

Fans were left scratching their heads after Curtis broke down in tears on Wednesday night, after Millie put their budding romance on pause.

The returning bombshell immediately set his sights on former champion Millie when he arrived in the villa and wasted no time in coupling up with her.

And in the latest episode, he was pulling out all the stops, as he roped in Scott van-der-Sluis to help whip up a romantic breakfast for Millie and Leanne Amaning.

He gushed to her: 'You are just a little sweetheart… you are a family person and really cool… I didn’t realise how funny you’d be.'

However, the breakfast ended up backfiring after Millie later admitted it felt 'too coupley too soon' and feared they were moving too fast.

Pulling Curtis for a chat in the evening, she expressed her worries that she was leading him on, saying she wanted things to happen 'naturally'.

He insisted he didn't want to pressure on her, but then suggested she might not feel ready to get close to someone after her split from boyfriend Liam Reardon five months ago.

Mille admitted: 'Maybe. I know I don't want to be with him, but...' before she became overwhelmed and broke down in tears.

As Curtis rushed to comfort her, she explained: 'I think I've gone with things because I want to make you happy and I'm falling into my old ways.'

While visibly disappointed, Curtis insisted that she should be 'selfish' in the villa, adding: 'I am a big boy and I can take it. I still want to get to know you even if it's friendship.'

However, going over to join the boys by the firepit, he struggled to get a hold on his emotions, eventually getting up to walk off to the kitchen in tears.

Trying to compose himself, he received a comforting hug from Jack Keating and broke down in tears again, saying: 'I've been trying so hard not to put pressure on her or push her away.'

Jack was quick to assure: 'I don't think you've put a single foot wrong. This happens a lot in here where people get too romantic too quickly and then decide take a step back.

'It breaks my hard to see you upset. It's just a speed bump. It's a bitter pill to swallow sometimes. Life's a rollercoaster'.

However, viewers watching at home couldn't help but voice their confusion at Curtis' emotional reaction after just four days of getting to know Millie.

They took to X to write: 'Why is Curtis crying a river over someone he’s got to know for 4 days?'; 'Curtis crying about Millie is not okay it’s been 4 days. What the hellyyyyy'.

'I’m all for men letting out their emotions but Curtis babe, it’s been a few days. This is the tewwww much lmao'; 'NOT THE TEARS CURTIS YOUVE KNOWN HER 20 MINUTES!?!?!'

'Curtis I had no idea you were down bad like this?! In 4 days?? Come onnnnnn!'; 'curtis has only known millie for a week no? i’m confused, is it that deep?'

'It’s too soon to be crying Curtis. He shouldn’t have put all his eggs into one basket, especially with someone like Millie who is fresh out of a long-term relationship.' 

'Curtis isn't used to rejection because there's no other explanation as to why he's crying over someone he's only known for 4 days'; 'Sorry Curtis was doing the most, it’s literally been 4 days'.

However, some fans sympathised with Curtis' feeling of rejection and took to X to admit they felt sorry for him.

They wrote: 'Damn Curtis got me in my feelssss'; 'actually feel bad for curtis having to hide his tears'; 'Ffs why do I feel bad for Curtis now'.

'curtis crying and hiding in the fridge for no reason might be the only relatable thing he’s ever done and unfortunately i understand him'; 'Curtis is actually upsetting me.'

'nah i feel bad for curtis now. i think he really just wants a nice relationship & this kinda thing has probs happened one too many times for him & he feels like why can’t it just work out for me'.

While, many couldn't help but mock Jack's attempts to comfort Curtis by quoting his famous father's hit 2000 song, Life is a Rollercoaster.

They rushed to social media to joke that Ronan Keating had made a bet with his son to say his number one track on the show and quipped Jack should 'leave it to his dad'.

They joked: '“Life is a rollercoaster” yknow Jack was itching to get that one out'; 'I see what you did there Jack "Life is a rollercoaster".

'i bet jack had a bet with his dad to sneak “life is a rollercoaster” in some where'; '"LIFE IS A ROLLERCOASTER!" So, so funny..'.

Surely Ronan Keating must be shouting at his son via the TV screen when he sees him comforting another fella who is in Love Island with him!! “Say it Jack. Say it….” “Mate don’t be upset…Life Is A Rollercoaster (just got to ride it)”.
