New York-based commercial coffee equipment company Mundo Novo is rolling out the MN-CS1-Pro, an upgraded version of its single-spout automated pourover machine with deeper recipe controls and wireless connectivity.

The Pro model started shipping in June, while a 2-group version is expected to follow in August.

The Pro adds more control to Mundo Novo’s “pourover made simple” pitch, allowing users to adjust temperature, flow rate and spiral motion for each pulse of water. The machine keeps the same physical design, dimensions and installation footprint as the standard CS1 model.

“The differences are almost entirely in software,” Mundo Novo Co-Founder and CEO Julio Rizk told Daily Coffee News. “Pro draws on more of the machine’s onboard processing power to unlock finer recipe control.”

The Pro also raises the maximum volume per pulse to 250 milliliters, adds an onscreen slider for spiral width and includes an optional “agitation mode” that dispenses two rapid 5-milliliter pulses with a slight nozzle vibration after the final pour.

“That light agitation helps pull a little more extraction from the already-saturated coffee bed,” Rizk said. “Per-pulse flow control also makes it possible to ease off flow during the bloom, improving saturation and giving the coffee bed a gentler water touch with less agitation. The Pro model was built to serve a market of highly complex, high-value coffees that need a bit more control to extract properly.”

Wireless connectivity rounds out the Pro upgrades. Through a new Mundo Novo desktop app, users can design and upload recipes and check maintenance and usage data.

“Every Pro unit is wi-fi enabled and connected to Mundo Novo’s servers, which supports remote diagnostics, customer support and remote recipe customization and loading,” Rizk said.

While users can adjust recipes through the Mundo Novo touchscreen, commercial operators running multiple machines get free access to a desktop app that lets them “build recipes centrally and push them out to every machine in their fleet,” Rizk said.

Mundo Novo introduced its 2-group CS2 automated pourover machine at World of Coffee San Diego in April 2026. The CS2 will now be released exclusively as a Pro machine, with two independent brewing units controlled by one touchscreen and a price of roughly 1.7 times the single-group model.

Mundo Novo expects the CS1-Pro to retail for roughly 10% to 15% more than the standard CS1.

“Our distributors currently price [the CS1] at an average of $3,600 in the USA,” Rizk said. “Final retail pricing is set by individual distributors, who factor in service costs, location, local taxes and warranties.”

The company says owners who purchased a Mundo Novo CS1 before the Pro announcement can upgrade to Pro capabilities for a one-time $300 fee.
