Before we get into the stats, I want to thank our friends at the Vette Pocket Guide, the app that has replaced the Corvette Black Book. I spoke with both Kevin and Jim who are the brains behind it while at Corvette Invasion, and they turned me on to their latest iOS app called Vette Tracker which is a new C8 production tracker.

The Vette Tracker app relies on publicly available window stickers which it then downloads and extracts to create its data. We can see daily production totals, top exterior colors, and trim levels – all of which can also be broken out by model and body style. Best of all, it’s free to anyone with an iOS device so download it today from the App Store.

Today while I was using the app, I wanted to see what colors were being ordered on the new Grand Sport. Turning to the Vette Tracker app, I was able to pull up and view the top exterior colors for the 2027 Grand Sport with the colors ranked for me.

As expected, Admiral Blue leads the way with 423 total builds to date, and the new color is represented on 32.7% of all Grand Sports built.

The total number of Grand Sports for this chart was 1,291. When we look at the Coupes versus Convertibles, Admiral Blue, Arctic White, and Black are the top three colors regardless of body style.

To put those numbers in context, here are the rankings for all 2027 Corvette Exterior Colors. The new Admiral Blue Metallic is first overall while the other new color for 2027 – Pitch Gray Metallic – is currently ranked 7th out of 3,599 total Corvettes surveyed.

Okay, I have one more Grand Sport build stat and this blew my mind, but maybe it shouldn’t. For this stat, I turned to the website GMbuildcounts.com which also captures the window sticker data. Their numbers are slightly different at 1,223 Total Grand Sports, and they allow you to filter the model builds by package.

According to their data, only 11 Corvette Grand Sports have been built with the Z52 Track Package and of those, just one is a Convertible. That’s under 1% of all Grand Sports so far. The other package available is the Z52 Sport Package and that’s been ordered on 568 Grand Sports, representing 46% of all GS builds.

Other than having the flat-plan crank 5.5-liter V8, the Z52 track package is the closest you can get to the Z06. The Z52 Track Package costs $20,695 and it includes the full carbon fiber aero, center quad exhaust, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2Rs and carbon ceramic brakes.
