Yesterday we had a story about the 2027 Corvette Grand Sport and shared some of the initial production data that included the top exterior colors ordered so far. We also found that just 11 customers have ordered the Z52 Track Package which is less than 1% of the total 1,223 total Corvette Grand Sports produced so far.

That last bit of data was captured from the GM Build Counts website which allows us to sort through the window stickers of these already-produced Corvettes. As we were doing that yesterday, I sorted all current 2027 Corvette Grand Sports built so far and I was able to see both the cheapest and most expensive GS builds to date.

As for the cheapest Grand Sport built to date, we have just one 2027 Corvette Grand Sport 1LT Coupe that was ordered with just the $500 Admiral Blue exterior for an MSRP of $88,995. The most expensive Grand Sport built for the USA market is an Arctic White Convertible with an MSRP of $155,009. While you may be thinking, “Ah, this must be one lone Grand Sport Convertible with the Z52 Track Package and the Z06 carbon aero,” you would be incorrect.

This Arctic White Convertible is VIN 1G1YV3D56V5300513 and it includes the visible Carbon Fiber wheels and carbon ceramic brakes, but the owner instead went with the Z52 Sport Package and then loaded the car with a number of desirable options. That includes Front Lift, a visible carbon fiber grille, the Center Quad Exhaust, and the Grand Sport Launch Edition interior. But wait that’s not all!

The options alone on this Corvette Grand Sport come in at over $50,000 and the buyer did score a discount of $3,005 with the Carbon Fiber Wheels and Brakes Package that brought the MSRP down from $158,014 to the $155,009 shown on the website. I’m going to go out on a limb here and proclaim this build to be a 1 of 1 for sure!

The GMBuildCounts.com website also shows Canadian orders mixed in with the USA VINs. The most expensive listing for a Grand Sport in the Great White North is a 3LT Grand Sport Cabriolet that comes in at $182,903 CAD, which is roughly $130,000 USD.

In one of the videos made by Korey at Paragon Performance, he made a point that said because the pricing of the Grand Sport can easily get into Z06 territory, buyers are really making a conscious decision first about which engine they want. While the Z06 buyer wants that high revving flat-plane crank engine and its unique sound, the Grand Sport provides a slightly cheaper alternative with its monster low-end torque and also features a classic V8 soundtrack that rumbles and cracks.

With that extra money on the table, Grand Sport buyers can then add more options to make the car their own. Which apparently is something that this Grand Sport customer has done.
