Over the years Chevrolet and its advertising partners have launched some of the most memorable campaigns in automotive history. Already this year, Chevrolet has reintroduced America to the famous jingle, “See the USA in a Chevrolet,” and now they are about to launch another customer-favorite just in time for America’s 250th Anniversary.
To help celebrate this momentous occasion, Chevrolet is launching an advertising campaign that reintroduces “The Heartbeat of America” slogan and a revised jingle from an Alabama rock band called The Red Clay Strays.
The commercial opens with the view of a 2027 Corvette Grand Sport in its traditional Admiral Blue/While Stripe livery on a single-lane road bordering a lake. It then shows the same Grand Sport pulling away from the camera and we stopped it just in time to see that it’s wearing a custom license plate that reads, “HE4RTBT.”
The commercial’s narration keeps the ad focused while the scenes show various Chevrolet vehicles doing their thing including Chevy trucks driving spiritedly off-road or an SUV cruising downtown. We also get views of an all-American summer featuring fun at the lake, a county fair’s Ferris wheel, or a kid running at night with a sparkler.
Throughout the commercial, you’ll also catch the unmistakable sounds of a human heartbeat. Those real heartbeat sounds were actually recorded from a number of different people who will also be featured on Chevrolet’s social media channels.
They include Tootsie Tomanetz of Texas, the legendary 91-year-old female pitmaster behind the famous and award-winning Snow’s BBQ. Josh York, founder of Detroit-based apparel manufacturer Soft Goods, who built his company to create jobs and opportunity in his hometown. And finally Spencer, the Kansas-native creator behind SB Mowing, whose videos spotlight free lawn transformations for families and residents in need.
America’s Favorite Sports Car makes the extended :60-second commercial and is represented several different ways. In addition to the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport that opens and closes the video, we see a Sebring Silver 1963 Corvette Split Window and two toddlers riding in a Corvette power wheels car:

Chevrolet says the “Heartbeat of America” revival is part of the brand’s “America 250” campaign that honors the people, places, and values that continue to shape the nation. With more than 115 years in the U.S., and nearly 3,000 dealers across the country, Chevrolet is woven into the fabric of America.
“‘Heartbeat of America’ has always celebrated Chevrolet’s connection to the people and communities that shape this country,” said Steve Majoros, chief marketing officer of Global Chevrolet. “Chevrolet owners have always been the people that show up, the DIYers, the helpful neighbors – the true heartbeat in their communities. This campaign honors our customers.”
In addition to the earlier relaunch of the See the USA in your Chevrolet from country singer Brooke Lee, Chevrolet has also reintroduced “Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet” as a social campaign, inviting fans to create and share their own content with the classic characters.
The automaker has also launched its Stars & Steel Collection featuring limited edition Corvettes, Silverado’s, and Colorado’s wearing a unique graphics package featuring an American flag motif. Chevrolet will be donating $250 for each Stars & Steel vehicle sold during the year with the proceeds going to veterans’ groups.
