Corvette owners lose sleep over swirl marks and rock chips.

The owner of this 2026 Corvette ZR1 3LZ barely had time to worry about either before a drunk driver ended the honeymoon — hard. The impact was severe enough that the insurance company didn’t hesitate: total loss.

This Arctic White ZR1 was a stunner before the crash, and even now you can still see the bones of what it once was. The rear end took the brunt of the damage, the front fascia shows scuffs, and a crack runs through the mid-section fiberglass. It’s not pretty — but it’s not beyond saving, either.

The odometer reading is 0, according to the Copart listing which says the car is at the Longview, Texas location. Since most new Corvettes have at least 3 delivery miles, we figure that “0” figure isn’t accurate. Currently, this battered ZR1 carries an “Upcoming” lot designation that means it has not been assigned to an auction and isn’t available for bidding yet.

But one thing we ARE sure of: the equipment list remains a knockout with the window sticker showing a $213K MSRP.

At the heart of the car sits the 1,064 horsepower 5.5-liter twin turbo V8, the crown jewel of the ZR1 program. Surrounding it is a laundry list of popular options: front lift, black exhaust tips, orange brake calipers, orange seat belts, Habanero Napa leather, Battery Protection Package, Carbon Flash with Orange Accent full length dual racing stripes, and even the premium indoor car cover.

In other words, this was definitely a nicely equipped ZR1 – with just one “little” flaw now.

Which brings us to the classic line:

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

A skilled body shop could absolutely resurrect this car. Structurally, it’s not the worst wreck we’ve seen, and the drivetrain alone is worth the effort. But the elephant in the room is the one thing no shop can fix: the Carfax scarlet letter. This car will forever carry the stigma of being totaled, and any future buyer will see it.

So the real question becomes:

Are you the kind of person who can live with that?

Or better yet — are you the kind of person who doesn’t care?

Because somewhere out there is a ZR1 enthusiast who sees this not as a wreck, but as a challenge. A project. A comeback story waiting to happen.

And for that person, this bruised supercar might be the opportunity of a lifetime.
