KRAFTON India has announced a major collaboration between BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) and the iconic Naruto anime franchise. Arriving as part of the upcoming Version 4.5 update, the crossover will go live on 16th July, bringing anime-inspired locations, signature ninja abilities, themed game modes, and a wide range of exclusive collectibles to the battle royale title.

Designed for BGMI’s community of over 260 million players in India, the collaboration transforms familiar battlegrounds with content inspired by Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) while introducing several gameplay mechanics based on Naruto’s signature jutsu.

KRAFTON India already announced the BGMI 4.5 update, adding four legendary cars: Ferrari Roma, Purosangue, LaFerrari, and SF90 XX Spider in a global partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP, alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration, bringing in Spider-Man-themed gameplay, map transformations, and exclusive in-game experiences to the battle royale title.

The Naruto collaboration temporarily transforms portions of Erangel and Livik, recreating several iconic locations from the anime.

Players will be able to explore:

• Hokage Rock
• Ichiraku Ramen Shop
• Naruto’s Apartment
• The Ninja Academy
• Great Naruto Bridge
• Chunin Exam Arena
• Valley of the End
• Hidden underground secret rooms and redesigned urban areas inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village

KRAFTON has also added several cinematic experiences, including the legendary Naruto vs Sasuke battle at the Valley of the End, Kurama Memory Space, Group Photo Mode, anime-themed aircraft sequences before matches, Ninja Gathering Ceremony, and Naruto-inspired lobby background music.

Beyond visual changes, Version 4.5 introduces a range of Naruto-inspired combat mechanics that allow players to use famous ninja techniques during matches.

Players can unleash several iconic attacks, including:

• Rasengan
• Chidori
• Great Fireball Jutsu

The update also introduces:

• Flying Raijin Jutsu for instant teleportation
• Shadow Clone Jutsu to distract enemies
• Earth Style Mud Wall for temporary defensive cover

Additional abilities include:

• Reanimation Jutsu to revive teammates
• Tailed Beast Cloak for combat enhancements
• Ninja Run for faster movement across the battlefield

One of the most unique additions in Version 4.5 is Voice-Activated Ninjutsu, allowing players to trigger specific abilities by speaking commands through their microphone.

The collaboration also introduces several new gameplay experiences, including:

• Multi-phase Kurama Boss Battle
• Nine-Tails Special Match
• Valley of the End solo duels
• Cooperative Defend Konoha Mode

The collaboration brings an extensive collection of anime-themed cosmetics and progression rewards.

Players can obtain:

• Naruto Sage Mode outfit
• Naruto Six Paths Mode outfit
• Upgradeable Nine-Tails Fury AUG weapon skin
• Returning Naruto-themed cosmetics

The seasonal pass includes:

• Red-tier and Pink-tier character outfits
• Naruto-themed Monster Truck skin

Additional rewards include:

• Ultra-rare Kurama Card
• Team 7 character cards featuring Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura
• Blazing Sun Karambit Card

The Naruto crossover will be available as part of the BGMI Version 4.5 update beginning 16th July 2026. According to KRAFTON India, the collaboration will remain live until September 14, 2026, giving players nearly two months to experience the themed gameplay, unlock exclusive rewards, and participate in limited-time Naruto events.
