I’m slowly working through my last two week hiatus stuff (13 days worth of tumblr tags yay!) But anyway @sorcerousadventurer my love my muse played the picker wheels from the Writing Challenge Weekend and got stalker, southern Gothic, and Idiots in love and lemme tell you…This has not left my mind It was a hot August night the first time Ronnie Thorne slipped into the swamps outside Weissville. He had a vague idea where he was headed in the fading light, the game trail worn down into more of a path as it cut through cypress trees ladened with old Spanish moss. It had been just a few days since the Ingellvar ladies visited his brother’s general store in town. They usually came around about once a month, always surrounded by the wild rumors the towns folk whispered behind their hands as the women passed. Some said they were sisters, others lovers, but all seemed to agree they were certainly witches who practiced hoodoo under the full moon. And part of Ronnie figured that had to be true, because they had certainly cast some sort of spell to capture his every thought. He had been crazy about them from their first sweet smile his way, insane enough he was tripping over rotting logs and getting caught in sharp thistles as he stumbled along. Not that he minded the little rivulets of blood trailing down his arms. The war had given him worse scars than this, and it would be all worth it when he warned the little ladies of the danger to come.
