Chelsea linked with new Crystal Palace defender ahead of Maxence Lacroix move

Chelsea may be about to make a move for Crystal Palace's flying full-back Daniel Munoz. The Colombian has been one of their most impressive players for the Eagles.

They are already set to sell Lacroix to the west Londoners in a £52million deal, although this is yet to be announced. Now El Universal understand Munoz is on Chelsea's transfer radar.

He is also believed to be of interest to Barcelona, who are evaluating a move for the 30-year-old.

Marcus Rashford tipped for role in Man United transfer

Reports from Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed Marcus Rashford could be used in a swap deal by Manchester United for Manu Kone. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, while Rashford's time at United is expected to come to an end this summer.

However, with Roma holding out for a large transfer fee, Italian reports have claimed he may be a "suitable makeweight" to convince the Serie A heavyweights to part with the French international.

Jamie Carragher has told Liverpool they are in desperate need of a right-winger. The Reds are linked with Bradley Barcola of PSG, but the Frenchman has often played on the left-hand side.

Carragher expressed his concern on social media, saying "Well, Rio (Ngumoha) has always played from the left so that’s obviously his best position, (Cody) Gakpo should move really but who knows.

"I’m interested to see where Florian Wirtz plays, if he’s 10 Dom plays CM (central midfield? I'm not sure about that. Need a right winger desperately."

Paul Ince has admitted he was left confused by Manchester United's decision to spend £50m on Andrey Santos.

Speaking to GOAL, he said: "Whether [Manuel] Ugarte comes back, I don’t know, but they’ve signed the lad Santos from Chelsea for £50m, which is a lot of money for someone like him.

"I think the jury’s still out on that one. So to spend £50m on a young central midfield player when you’ve got [Kobbie] Mainoo coming through the ranks, kind of baffled me a bit."

Luis Diaz has reportedly told Bayern Munich he wants to stay at the Bundesliga giants, despite transfer interest from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.

The former Liverpool winger has been a huge hit since his move to Germany and Vincent Kompany's side have no interest in selling the Colombian.

Jordan Henderson breaks silence after Brentford departure

Jordan Henderson has released a statement after his departure from Brentford was confirmed. The England international is expected to link up with Xabi Alonso's Chelsea on a two-year deal.
