Hilary Duff was photographed on a Sephora run in Los Angeles with one of her daughters, back home after a week that kept her in the headlines on multiple fronts.

Photo by BACKGRID.She turned 39 on September 28 and marked it with a belated girls trip to Puerto Vallarta, where she was photographed on the beach with friends on October 8. She posted the getaway on Instagram October 10 with the caption, “The group chat made it to the jungle.” Mandy Moore was reported to be among the friends on the trip.
The errand also lands days after “CATastrophe,” her original song for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s upcoming The Cat in the Hat, dropped October 2 with a music video. She co-wrote it with husband Matthew Koma, Madison Love and Brian Phillips.

Duff shares son Luca, 14, with ex-husband Mike Comrie, and daughters Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2, with Koma. Koma previously shared a photo of Mae sitting at a table wearing the double space buns Duff wore as Lizzie McGuire more than 20 years earlier.
Her Lucky Me Tour, her first major headlining run in nearly two decades, opened June 21 in West Palm Beach and now stretches into 2027 with newly added dates across Europe, Latin America and the United States. She’s also set to receive Billboard’s Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award at the Live Music Summit on November 10.
